Today is International Dog day.

I do not own a dog. I like respectful, well behaved dogs.

I went to the Co op for our I newspaper and Garden News magazine.
The usual musak was being played in the shop which I find unbearable to listen to. I put a few items in the Parish Church foodbank and then slowly walked home.


I am thankful the much needed rain quenched the garden this morning for a while.

Slugs normally appear after it rains in the garden but there have been no sign of any slugs as yet.


Now, it is 22.8c in the living room and sunny.

I did the morning tasks including praying, cleaning cat bowls, washing clothes, drying them and then breakfast.

I watched Holy Mass online from St Marie's Cathedral and then said the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary.
