Vineyard Gear…..
…….Along the boundary fence abutting the old pony club grounds in the Taylor River Reserve early this morning. No frost but a very heavy dew. The big bales piled along the boundary are made of netting fabric that is used to cover and protect fruited grapevines from pesky bird attacks when the crop is nearing harvest. The mountain tops peeping above the mist are part of the Richmond Range.
A good walk with Ruby full of energy. She is becoming quite cheeky at times, testing boundaries, heading towards the trying “teenage stage” in dogs. She played with a black and white dog called Deena who is getting to the same teenage stage. A day at home catching up with domestic tasks. Quite a mellow spring-like afternoon.
