Paper play

I journal on the back of these cards and here is what I wrote...

It's amazing what playing with paper can do. I first started drawing around some of the paint/ink shapes but didn't really like how they looked a bit like fish monsters!! So I grabbed some additional painted tissue paper, added strips of it to cover most of the monsters and did more drawing around the edges. 

Took a few minutes and did a world of good. I had laser eye surgery today for narrow angle closure. That builds up pressure in the eye and if not for this surgery, it could lead to sudden onset Glaucoma. I certainly didn't want that! It really was not bad, just a little stinging. Drops for a week, then a check-up and I should be good to go!
