Alvis Three Litre
BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY
After a good night’s sleep — almost eight and a half hours — I headed over to Prestatyn for the annual classic car show, with dozens of cars lined up along the High Street and in the town centre car parks.
Almost as soon as I arrived, I bumped into Keith, a team-mate from the bowling club, and we spent a good hour chatting whilst walking round and admiring the cars on display.
We came across fellow bowler Brian’s Triumph Stag, though Brian himself was nowhere to be seen!
Keith and I rounded things off with a Costa cappuccino before I did a bit of shopping in M&S. Afterwards, I drove over to Rhuddlan for a few practice ends ahead of tomorrow’s bowls match. he bowling green was running fast today, but with rain forecast overnight the away green tomorrow may play quite differently.
Once home, I finally washed my car — the first time in over two months.
The photo is a 1962 Alvis TD.
