Skiddaw Sunset

This evening I went over to Tewet Tarn,  my plan was to get some shots of the tarn at sunset with Skiddaw & Blencathra lit up.
The backup was to hang around for a few hours if the sky remained clear for an attempt at the Milky Way.
Typically plans fail, in fact I think I need to come later in the year for what I had in mind. So I improvised and wandered about looking for a plan B.
I think I ended up on Low Rigg, looking back towards Skiddaw, the sun just poking through the typical bank of cloud on the horizon.
 I did hang around for an hour or so, the cloud was building and a milky way shot looked unlikely . I heard what I thought was someone flying a drone, when I investigated I realised I had a squadron of horse flies above my head and no amount of cap waving would disperse them.. I bugged out sharpish.
