We went to four different shops looking for fennel yesterday and couldn’t find any. We went to one farm shop today and here it all was. Sounds like market manipulation to me…

I love fennel. It goes really well with butter beans and white wine. But this is an expensive shop. They wanted £6.49 for a bunch of asparagus. 

I’ll pass on that. It’s not veg it’s extortion…
