And if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’ve re-packed the washers on these taps more times than I can remember. I love this old sink and the noises it makes. Everything about the old place speaks, sometimes loudly and often softly and quietly. Hard to believe a picture of an old sink can evoke such things, but there you go.
