Project

Up early followed by a return to the sofa for another morning sleep. A recent change in routine and an increase in exercise is helping to rob me of what energy I have.

Woke up to find V attacking the grape vine at the bottom of the garden. A reminder why we need to move. So much growth and the green compost bin full.

Late afternoon and turned my attention back to my latest woodworking project. A garden lantern. The frame is made from the pallet as seen in the background. A bit of a dry run before I try using a hard wood. It’s a challenge to get the head working and not without mistakes but it’s good to achieve something.

I did suggest to V that we go into town this evening to photograph the last of the seasons fireworks but when I saw her on her knees taking a photo of our cat Maddie I knew she didn’t believe we would be going so I took this photo for my blip. She was of course right. A quiet evening watching tv.

On holiday soon so need to start catching up with all the jobs.

Inspired by marpaul and the creative use of frames and not knowing how it's done Ive had a go myself. Totally over done and not sure I will remember how to do it in future but I've had a go.
