Another hot, hot hot day

Stayed at home all day with the blinds and curtains closed. Was wonderful. Our visitors went for a long walk and came back a few hours later. Mr B did some shopping and had a hit against the wall and also came back a few hours later.

I made a Gazpacho – OK, but not special. The tomatoes weren't ripe enough, so I added tin tomatoes but still not enough depth of flavour. Also prepared spicy air fried courgettes.

Cooled down late afternoon so went alone for a walk round the garden, lovely breeze so decided to walk on the Over-Cliff and ended up walking back by the main road to avoid sun in my eyes.

For dinner: Salmon, new potatoes with spring onions, beetroot-carrot-apple salad, green salad with radicchio, and roasted courgettes. Oh and Gazpacho to start. Mango and grape fruit salad for dessert. We eat well when we have visitors!
