The long journey home

It’s actually not been too bad

We left at 10:30
Got to Dunkirk for 12:00

Parked up

Boarded the ferry about 1:30
Row hour crossing

Saw a migrant boat being escorted back to France by French police
We’d also passed many many migrants walking to their camp - made uncomfortable viewing

Off ferry very quickly
Stopped to do a super charge of the car

Drove for two hours
Stopped
Another two hours of driving and home to a very happy puppy dog who had been brought home around 8pm
