Deep, deep in the forest, far away from everywhere

Not too long at the controls today with two or three good meetings, but I still felt pretty worn out at the end of it all.  So after decompressing for a bit I headed out in the warm mostly-sunshine for a cycle to our favourite Swedish home accessories emporium to look for photo frames. Lovely bestie gave me a selection of little photographs from past holidays and they deserve to be mounted on the wall somehow.

On the way I took the old potholey farm track, as I've done many times, and halfway along is this old tractor, gradually disappearing into the trees.  It always makes me wonder how something that must surely have been so expensive to buy at first, can end up cast aside and forgotten.  The field also has various old farm implements that are so rusty I can't even tell what they were originally.

A nip round the supermarket after IKEA netted a whole load of bargains that will keep me going for a while, and then it was a lazy cycle home for a late tea.
