Basking
Not many canine encounters on our morning walk.
Some swimmers entering the sea near rocks and concrete slipways with waves slapping them back to shore. Another walker Mike said there have been serious injuries at these entry points to the water as undercurrent and waves can be fierce and sudden.
A bit more unpacking. Flattened boxes are piling up in the shed.
We had our first visitors, Owen and Susan, friends from Cambridge. They are staying at the youth hostel. We sat in the garden having tea and apple puree cake and catching up on a warm day. Kyro was also pleased to see them. They gave the house, garden, proximity to the sea and high street their seal of approval.
Tomorrow have a few tasks to do. One is get Kyro booked at the vet for his annual vaccinations.
Pleasant evening everyone.
