Diversion

I was at the breast clinic today. 3 mammograms, ultrasound and 2 biopsies later the conclusion was I have breast cancer. I did think it might be something so hopeful it’s been caught quickly. I won’t know for about 2 weeks. It was a long day and we came home feeling exhausted and numb.
I’m going to take some time off work until we find out the treatment plan. As we say in Scotland, my heid is mince!
An unwelcome diversion in my journey through life.
