Amsterdam day two

We started off by going to the lunch area of open water now our hotel and looking at the local birds, Max has an app which identifies birds by their sounds and he discovered six more that he didn’t have.

Then we caught the tram to our next hotel which is in the centre of Amsterdam and we went to a lovely restaurant for lunch where I Try the traditional pea soup with sausage which was delicious.

I looked on the map and noticed we were very near to the palace so we went there and bought tickets and took an audio tour around the highlights which was very cool.

Then we decided to go on a canal boat tour which was very interesting and pictures.

Then it was all out for and all you can eat Japanese feast!

I am now lying down in our hotel room looking forward to a relaxing evening in front of the TV possibly with some wine!
