Bank holiday lunch

What a perfect day to eat outside. Invited two lovely couples for lunch and sat and ate and chatted and ate and just enjoyed being amongst old friends. I wonder if we will get the chance to do this again this year. Rain is on its way for the next week.
I have so loved this summer. I have loved the blue skies, and the warm temperature. I have loved getting dressed in cool clothes that take no effort to wear and I have loved the chance to sit out in our garden at night and just read or look at the sky. Haven't we been lucky.
