Not the day that was planned

My sister and I were supposed to go kayaking today.
I woke at 3:30 am for no reason and couldn't get back to sleep so went downstairs to get a cup of tea, the dogs followed thinking it was time for breakfast.
Breakfast wasn't on the menu so early so we all went back to bed. Got up at 6:30 and surprisingly Keely didn't come down for breakfast, when I went up to investigate she wouldn't get off the bed. I carried her downstairs but she just wasn't right on her back legs. I called the emergency vet but it took over an hour to get to talk to one. Finally got an appointment for 9:30. After a thorough examination the vet was puzzled, she showed to evidence of pain down her spine, her legs moved freely in all directions without pain. Reflexes were normal. Stomach soft, no glands up and a normal temperature. Just not moving smoothly when she walked. He's given me some antiinflammatories and advised rest.
She's very happy resting on the sofa and being fed there. Lots of cuddles from me and Dina (from time to time).
Praying she makes a quick recovery
