High tide, Uig Sands, Isle of Lewis

I can't resist posting a shot of our holiday accommodation here on the Isle of Lewis. I took this photo this morning before we headed out on the tandem for a ride around the Bhaltos peninsula. We stopped at Reef (extra) for our picnic lunch, and then at Cliff (again) so that Mr hazelh could play in the waves once more (extra).

This evening's meal will be mushroom and celery stroganoff, preceded by a game of Scrabble and followed by the Monday quizzes.

Exercise today: 13 miles of tandem riding.
