Enjoying the sunshine
We decided to go over to Rocester this morning for a walk round the lake to see the wildlife. The forecast is for the temperature to rise considerably by the afternoon.
We were lucky to get a parking slot, as someone was leaving as we arrived. Being a bank holiday it was very busy with young families, especially little ones on cycles. It’s an ideal place for them practice their skills.
The geese, ducks and other birds don’t take much notice, except when someone is offering to feed them!! These are Barnacle geese and look like the ones that gather in the field across from our house at night.
It’s the head quarters of JCB and a working day for their staff, S was working. The big boss was in, as we could see his helicopter parked on the grass.
After the walk we drove up to Denstone Farm shop for coffee. It was busy and a bit stressful for Amber as it was getting warmer by then.
Her afternoon walk is going to be very late, when it cools off a bit.
In the meantime I will be watching the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on the TV and doing my knitting.
