Pocklington canal

We thought we'd better make the most of the last sunny day and had a lovely stroll along the canal. If the forecast is to be believed, we are in for some showery weather. The canal was at its most idyllic, very peaceful, the occasional walker and one canoeist. Mostly just us and the wildlife. Lots of dragonflies. These three are, I think, an emerald willow damselfly, migrant hawker and a ruddy darter.
