Busy busy busy

We went to Stratford recreation ground today to meet up with Son1 and the two boys.
We had a lovely day. It’s been the warmest sunniest August bank holiday I can remember and so naturally the Town was heaving.
It took us about half an hour just to get out of the car park.
We were stationary on the bridge for so long I had time to take a photo of the Avon  with all sorts of boats “messing about on the river”
The summer holidays are drawing to an end and the weather is going to change this week apparently.
Hence the swallows sitting on the wires in extra, contemplating their long journey south. Being sensible I suppose they don’t actually travel on a bank holiday due to the traffic but it won’t be long.
