Fairy Garden Part 2!
Our two eldest grandchildren came this morning.
Our creative granddaughter came with a glue gun, and a motley selection of things to stick on to the outside of her house for the Fairy Garden. Pebbles, leaves, seeds, and bits of lavender.
We had a portable table out on the patio. (It used to be used for decorating).
Our grandson was constructing 3 dimensional shapes from diagrams on the internet that grandad had printed off.
He wanted to make an 8 sided dice for Mine Craft, from paper or thin card, and also they looked at a 20 sided one.I wish had taken a photo of the results! Each face was coloured and numbered first before a fiddly bit of glueing right at the last one.
Here’s a YouTube video if you would be remotely interested! ;-0

I was painting a large rounded stone. The acrylic paints have worked very well and are waterproof when dry.(Can you see my ladybird! Painted yesterday )
I’ve put a photo of the work in progress on the house, in extras.
It has been warm and sunny all day. Perfect for painting at the table outside. The patio window has been open all day.
The garden is bone dry and even the roses which are flowering again have frazzled blooms in the heat.
They stayed to lunch for once, and Stephen took them back at 1:45pm.
We’ve now finished tidying up, although they are good at helping.
There’s a breeze getting up at the moment which feels like there’s a change of weather on the way.
I’m still behind with comments but I will take a look at blips.
We’re both now having some “time out”!
