Ludlow 1955

Needed a project for today. Something I could get my teeth into and see results at the end of the day. So I decided to paint the fences at the front of the house, along with the front gate. Ronseal fence paint, so thin and watery I managed to get as much on the floor and myself as landed on the fence.

Helen has been clearing out the desk draws in the back office, and came across this old picture. I may have blipped it before, but I don't remember. Anyway, it shows my Dad , and my grandparents on a trip out with the NFU.

Very hot and sticky day.
