New old car

Uncle Spencer has given this old car to Max to do up and sell. It’s the one we broke down in a few weeks ago and it has been parked outside our place since then. Max is very handy and has the cleanest shiny red car for himself. I’m sure a wash will improve this one. This is his 3rd car and he is only 17. He is having a rest this afternoon after his trial Chemistry exam.

We spent ages waiting over an hour for a medical procedure this morning. This afternoon I weeded around my peonies and fertilised them. I can see new shoots ready to emerge. The garden is so overgrown I don’t know where to start so decided to do it by plant category. Yesterday were the box hedges and tomorrow I will clean up the sedum which are starting to shoot after their winter rest. It was 19°. Wow. Single figures are returning next week so we enjoyed it while it lasted.

Leo walked here from school so we gave him afternoon tea before his Dad collected him. He is growing fast these days.

My brother in law sent a message about 2 new great-grandsons in the family. I can’t keep up. One is from Melbourne and the other from Brisbane. I haven’t seen the mothers in ages.
