PERGOLA BLUES

Looks may be deceiving, but my painter went poking around my
pergola, & found it needs major repair. He & his guys will return
in September to do this heavy lifting..  In the mean time, they caulked
& repainted the main vertical beams.

This morning, I took Angus to the park for the first time in weeks.
It felt so good to be outside, before the heat set in.  He really
enjoyed our short stroll.  I felt so good, we walked this
evening with my neighbor.  We will both sleep well, I hope.

Our EXTREME HEAT WARNING expires shortly, so maybe
that means the mornings will be cool again, soon.
One can hope...
