Street Performer
It was quite a slow morning, and it took me time to get myself organised. I eventually got myself to the bakery, but it was pretty much sold out. Luckily they had a couple of baguettes left, which were perfect for lunch. Before lunch I decided to go for a wee walk, as I knew I wouldn’t have a chance later on.
TT and I then caught a bus to Edinburgh, and we battled the crowds to get to the venue of our show. We went to see a production of Antigone. It was directed by someone who TT knows. It was excellent, and the two hours of intense drama flew by. We then went to The Bow Bar for a quick drink. I then headed to a nearby restaurant to meet a friend for dinner. TT headed home.
After a lovely dinner we headed to the Festival Thestre to watch Mary Queen of Scots, by Scottish Ballet, part if the International Festival. It was amazing. Intense, dramatic, thought provoking, I could go on. There was so much going on, I feel I need to see it again.
After the show we had to battle the hordes again to get to the bus stop. We had to wait a wee while on the bus, but I was glad to be heading home after two dramatic productions.
We spotted this street performer on the Royal Mile.
