Disaster just off London Road

I must find out now about what catastrophe has befallen this house. Looks like the cornice fell off, taking off a balcony on the way. But the porch roof also looks in bad shape. A lot of neglect or a fire? Despite this, it seems be be inhabited.

On the way to check out a cute Japanese themed boba (bubble tea) takeaway near the top of Easter Road.
