What is it with cars in Bearsted?

Another car in an unusual situation. It’s not the first time we’ve seen a car parked in this gateway with vegetation gradually taking over. I dare say next time we go past it will have extricated itself and escaped. Two silly car photos in two days. Is that silly enough?

We did some foraging this morning, a few blackberries to have at breakfast during the week and plums from a recently discovered tree to have for dessert with friends on Friday. Plenty of damsons about. Not ripe enough yet.

Enough of us enjoying ourselves. It was back to clearing and sorting this afternoon. The garage was the subject of our efforts this time. At least we’ve identified what we want to keep, take to the tip for recycling or put on Facebook. It looks like we’ve hardly touched it!

After I’d posted yesterday’s shot we chatted with Chris in San Marcos to wish him a very happy birthday. The year has passed quickly since I was there to help mark his milestone birthday last August.
