The crooked tree

This afternoon I set to visit Nendrum monastic site on the shores of Strangford Lough, but it was too busy for me so I found a quiet bit of shore on Reagh Island, which turned out to be a better location.  It features this crooked tree, which I have photographed before.  Light filtering through the branches produced pleasing light, even though it was mid afternoon.
