Feed the birds

When Lydia, Alicia and I went to the farm last week , they were allowing people to pick sunflowers for free because , due to lack of rain, the whole field of sunflowers was dying. It was such a sorry sight. There were actually sunflowers that looked fine, and those were what most people.. in fact everybody,
Except me!
I picked the these to hang in the garden fkr the birds!!!
Felt very pleased with myself!
Boy, what a day it’s been today!
I really need to learn to say no if it diesnt suit me, makes me feel on edge ir causes stress. Easier said than done!
My neighbour wanted to visit Vic in hospital.. fine!
Could we go at 11?
No..Not good for me.
She pleaded as she couldn’t do another time.. ok I said.
Eleven came and she said could we go at one.. she had to walk her dog.!!
Ok said.. feeling ridiculously upset.
One o clock came.. phone call.. I’m in Sutton park , the dog is still swimming , I need to have a shower can we go later!!!!
I lost my cool and said NO.. I’m going.. you can go later!
She arrived at the hospital at three… showered ( not like me after a hot sticky walk) smart dress AND her doctors lanyard!!!!!
She proceeded, WITHOUT our permission to question the nurses about Vic, his , care , release date!!!!!.. the nurses asked us if it was ok and I tried to play it down that she was a neighbour/ doctor/ trying to “ help”.. but I was in shock!!
I felt she was undermining g them and they have been amazing… jt was aweful!
She then decided Vic needed a coffee.. he said he didn’t.. and went off to get one. I went and had a word with the nursss and apologised, and I will apologise tomorriw again. They said unless she was working she shouldn’t even wear the lanyard! They understood and both gave me a hug as I got really upset.. Jyst feeling a bit delicate.. She meant well , I know… but it was so intense and I couldn’t believe what was happening g! She even asked to speak to a higher nurse!!!..
I came home and Jyst sat in silence for an hour , unable to move. Rang Lydia and she agreed with me so I felt better and not so ungrateful.. it was just so out of order. In my opinion.
