Skellig Islands

A magnificent day at sea.

We sailed past the Cliffs of Moher in the morning and headed at speed later to the Skellig Islands.

Skellig Michael is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s beautiful as well as shrouded in mystery.

Next was its sister island, Little Skellig, so different. Thousands of gannets nest there. I was certain I hadn’t got a decent photo but I suppose the odds were that one or two might be ok. I’ve put a couple of extras.

This trip is amazing.
