Last day in Dublin
Our last hours in Dublin were spent at the National Gallery.
Extras: There was a lot of art that I liked, but I was especially taken by Harry Aaron Dernoff's painting of the pub David Byrne. He has painted himself into the artwork.
We also saw a sculpture of Oscar Wilde in a park. It was paid for by Guinness. He looks like he has had one drink too many. He definitely looks a bit tipsy.
We had one last pub lunch at the pub Kennedy's where the aforementioned worked in his youth. Note that in front of me is a glass of water. It is my husband who is drinking beer.
