Just a Moment of Rest...

I haven't seen a male Ruby-throated hummer in almost a week. For a few days before they left, the male on male chasing around the yard was intense! Then all of a sudden it stopped and they were...gone! Males typically leave on their migration first and females follow. I'm curious if my neighbors are still seeing the boys. The females continue to visit the flowers in our yard and occasionally the feeder. This little girl stilled for a moment, just long enough for me to capture her beauty in this photo.  m
