My little Prince

A day of eating out! Met Nicky for brunch and a long overdue catch up. We sat in the sun with mimosas. Then it was sort of lunch time so had some wine too. And some tasty smoked haddock cheese on toast, lush it was. Wandered back through town, bought some lovely top value glasses from Berts and Will a couple of spoons. He is unsure of cooking equipment gifts but he will need them soon enough. Nicky came back to see Joe lounging in the garden, he has quite the fan club amoungst my friends.

A little sit on the sofa and then time for the next event. My mum and Clare came over and we all went to the lovely Chinese on the corner for a celebration dinner- Wills a level results and forthcoming uni departure and Toby's birthday. We had that peak of joy in a Chinese restaurant- a big round table with a lazy Susan. The restaurant didn't quite know how to mark Wills celebration but Toby got a balloon, an ice cream with a candle in it and all the waiters singing happy birthday to him. We then moved on to singing Congratulations to Will but he closed that down quite quickly. We got free drinks, a huge amount of gorgeous food lots of which we brought home and all round had a very fun time.
