I shot a rabbit the other night and left it outside for a wild cat who has been hunting near here for months. She was limping a bit and looked like she might not be fast enough to catch one for herself. Unfortunately our own cat discovered the rabbit first and came in covered in fleas, so we have been picking them off, one by one, with tweezers from her ears and she was happy when the ordeal was over.
