I did a 1/2 hour of passage meditation this evening. I've memorized the following English translation of a Hindu sacred text:

"Lead me from the unreal to the real,
Lead me from darkness to light,
Lead me from death to immortality.

May the Lord of Love protect us,
May the Lord of Love nourish us,
May the Lord of Love strength us,
May we realize the Lord of Love.
May we live with love for all,
May we live in peace with all."

The book I photographed includes many passages of all religious traditions. Sometimes I believe in God other times not. I wish I believed in God, the power of the universe, etc. more times than I actually do. I guess I will be forever working on this! Although it doesn't seem like it should be work, but maybe more of an acceptance and letting go?
