Twisted Trees

I do love my trees, especially whilst they're leafless.

Walking along part of the Sandstone Trail in Cheshire, I spotted this one and just loved the way the various portions of the trunk have wound themselves around each other to give a rather intimate, introspective appearence to the tree.
