Silly Saturday - Corvette

I was pondering what to blip today when, while taking granddog Oona for a walk, I came across this rather gorgeous car with a rather silly registration. Naturally I had to blip it as a silly blip even though the next hosted Silly Saturday is still 2 weeks away.

I wouldn't call myself a petrolhead, but I still find cars interesting and confess that I had to use Google lens to identify it. It seems to be a Chevrolet Corvette; Corvettes have been manufactured since 1953 and are currently on their 8th iteration. However although this one looks very new, I'm pretty sure it's a C6 and therefore must have been produced between 2005 and 2013. Different models had either a 6 litre or 7 litre engine and could accelerate from 0-60 mph (97 km/hr) in 3.6 to 4 seconds depending on the engine. One wonders when drivers have the opportunity to test that out on today's roads! (This info is gleaned from Wikipedia, here.)
