Just lazin' about

Our first holiday: Scotland & Northern England. Today we visited Edinburgh Zoo - and spent the whole day there! Despite being on a hillside, with steep inclines, it's a fantastic place & great value at £16 a ticket (plus parking). Their main attraction in the Giant Pandas, with excitement building about the possible imminent arrival of a baby panda. We saw Mr Panda, who was sadly asleep the whole time and spent a long, long time at Penguin Rock, a new enclosure allowing you to get a lot closer to their many penguins. My favourites were the koalas, because I am crazy about Australia. My partner liked the penguins and the big cats. This chap was just lazin' about on a branch close the window, he looked very peaceful and worthy of today's Blip.
