Peacock butterfly
Another warm and sunny day. I was out watering the allotment first thing and then back to various things at home including looking at what has been recovered from the hard drive. Things are looking good so far.
After lunch my husband and I decided to go for a walk over Aylesbeare Common. A few weeks ago when I visited there was little butterfly activity probably because the weather was rather grey and a little drizzly. Today the sun was out and we did see a number of butterflies including this peacock, some gate keepers, speckled wood, meadow brown and some distant white ones. Not many birds were spotted other than a buzzard flying above us but we did see a female emperor dragonfly.
An enjoyable walk with the weather a pleasant temperature.
