No More Gravel

Paid a visit to my sister, and we popped over to Amwell Nature Reserve near Stanstead Abbotts for a stroll.

This area was the site of gravel pits for many years, but is now a very popular leisure area with the canalised river Lea Navigation running through.

It's getting late for flowers, but there's colour from (I think) purple loosestrife and hemp agrimony.
