Run, retrieve and return

Lots of logistics today!
Got my parkrun fix then back to the flat, showered and checked out by 10am. Unfortunately my taxi didn’t arrive till 10:40 so I was getting a bit anxious about making the 11am pick-up. Waited a few minutes for the ferry then a brisk walk up the driveway back to Bawdsey Manor… arrived at the desk with 10 seconds to spare! Collected a very tired H who has had a fabulous time and is keen to go back next year. After a cafe stop to refuel and share stories from our respective adventures we headed home.
It’s been a great week for both of us.
