Common Lizards
After getting a few things in town, I drove to the Norfolk jigsaw fair at Sharington Village Hall. It’s a big name for an event at a small village hall and was even on the BBC news website for local news this morning. I zipped round it in five mins and got four jigsaws, three of which are from different series that I really like, so I was pleased. Then I drove on to Sculthorpe Moor hoping to see a kingfisher. I went to the hide where it’s often seen and it was there, but over the far side of the scrape, too far away for a photo. I walked down to the ‘raptor viewpoint’ (nothing to see) and back which must have taken 10 mins or less and saw a volunteer leaving the hide who told me the kingfisher had just visited one of the posts right outside the hide! I did see several common lizards on the boardwalk at one point (and a flesh fly), so I thought I’d make a collage for blip. Late afternoon I popped into the charity shop as there was something I could only do when the manager is upstairs, so it was good to get that done.
