The outstretched claws

Alfie often stretches his paws and at the same time, he stretches his claws, which I'm glad to say he doesn't use very often. I've had a domesticated day, dealing with the hall carpet which is an absolute magnet for cat hair in the morning and then doing a bit more hand sewing of the binding of one of the quilts I've been making for some time now. There really isn't a great deal more to do, but things always take longer than you think. I just have to make sure I've finished it before 3rd November as that's the anniversary of starting it. Surely I'll be able to manage that!

I called on B in the afternoon and she had had a good visit yesterday evening with T who is still in hospital. It was their 57th wedding anniversary and she had taken their wedding photos to look at with him.
