Vole Catcher

My female kestrel sat on the wires and telegraph poles waiting for her catch. Her patience was astounding  but finally I saw her lift off with a vole.

Millie has been the naughtiest she has ever been today. I do understand it really as I haven't been able to take her on walks like I used to but we have had incidents here and I find it frightening she won't react when I call her. She's wilful and definitely a mind of her own. She is sulking now but not in her basket with me but in a completely separate room - stroppy teenage years ahead I feel. Rabbits haven't helped as they are everywhere at the moment and she likes rabbits.
