Friday - Movie Night - NYC in GLA
Neil was off to Livingston and I joined a lovely networking call. Lina was there too and she gave me the most amazing live testimonial in the call in front of everyone.
Then I was tired!
Very tired.
I went to Black Pine at 3:30 pm and Neil was already on his way home so we could get into town for the Yungblud movie at St. Enoch.
We took the subway and went searching for some Spiderman movie set ups in Merchant City and admired the heavy tech and some shops that had been dressed up to be my NYC.
But no filming was happening and we wandered away to look for a place for a drink.
We went to a little Wine Bar called Soirée and had some wine and a cheese/charcuterie board. It was lovely.
Then it was time to walk to the cinema.
I have not been to a cinema for a long time - really long! possibly 13 years!
I was not aware that cinemas now have reclining seats.
What a nice surprise!
The Yungblud movie was AMAZING!
The music, the rawness, the honesty, the energy.
I totally enjoyed it - plus the fact that it had been done in Berlin.
It was 2 full hours and when it was done we went to Sugo for part 2 of our dinner. Including a bottle of wine.
We caught the last train home and were on the couch by midnight.
