Gordon the Donkey

Sue collected me on route to our friend Jane, who provided a delicious lunch after earlier coffee. Lovely as always to catch up with her and Kev, and the dogs. We wandered down to see Gordon, the donkey who had had an operation early in the week. They are just waiting for the results, so fingers crossed.

Brought us up to date with her birthday treats with her son and family in Spain. It sounds a wonderful time. And some of the images of her trip are wonderful, a facinating area. Now local celebrations here will take over.

Being the august bank holiday weekend here, it is also the 21st anniversary when my late husband and I moved from our cottage in the country to the town.
