Rackwick Beach - Pentland Firth

We were so lucky today.  A fourteen mile walk through the Hoy Hills and down to the beach and back to Hoy; for a debrief at Quoydale. A great day to be out in superb conditions.  Highlights included: visiting James at his croft trim up project, speaking with Errol whilst he beachcombed for wood, three red throated divers on Sandy Loch, meeting John Budge with visitors fae Westray.  The astute amongst you will see that Scotland was easily visible, the supra-astute will notice Brian in swimming.  Morven is easily visible - the highest point in Caithness.
