The cake - on the inside

Because of the re-arrangements of this weeks workshop to fit in with Gail's Mum's funeral, we started the workshop yesterday, and so I went out with the guests today to Loweswater. Had a fabulous day, with pretty calm water and excellent reflections.

Mike turned 11 today, and despite trying to wake us early for present opening, did manage to resist really disturbing us until 7am. He was delighted with his new massive LEGO set of the Isengard tower from LOTR. Emma bought him a day at Go Ape, so he spent a few hours walking across wire walkways in the trees, and mid-afternoon, he got to cut this amazing Cake that Emma made yesterday - On the outside it looked pretty average, but it really was incredible when cut and Mike couldn't believe his eyes.(I want one for my Birthday now!) - and the link takes you through to a picture of a slice of the cake.
