Sunflower

Espied this sunflower amid  patch of weeds whilst walking to village to pick up paper - following doctor’s orders after yesterday’s cataract removal have done not much else

In other news York family arrived in Portugal to discover forest fires nearby their accommodation - more than 150 firefighters working on them and fire brigade helicopters carrying water to help douse the flames flying over their accommodation - no evacuation required - fires now out - today they’ve spent time by the pool with just the smell of ash remaining  - extra- well done the fire service
