Scooters by the Sea

This bank holiday weekend always seems like the end of the Summer for me. Hailed as ‘the World’s largest scooter rally’ (I’m not sure how accurate that is!) it is expected to attract circa 10,000 scooter enthusiasts. The sound of them ‘popping’ around the island can be heard constantly. I enjoy having a look at the bikes parked up along by Ryde pier with proud owners chatting ‘scooter talk’ to each other. It was a lovely sunny day for it and the cafes were packed out this morning.
